Exmovere LLC has released its Web-based Exmocare biosensor wristwatch that comes with Bluetooth connectivity that targets the elderly. The Exmocare enables family and other caregivers to keep track of an individual’s physiological and emotional health status, including the vital signs without being physically present. The Exmocare is a Windows-based device that collects information every half hour, sending out alerts to caregivers automatically should any abnormal activity be detected. This data is transmitted wirelessly through a home PC, GSM cellphone with Bluetooth, or an in-car GPS system. Alerts can be received via e-mail, SMS, or IM.
