Five Ways To Run Blog More Effectively

Running a blog is hard work; it requires a lot of attention, which many people don’t realize. From writing articles to making sure you are uploading social media posts, it all takes time and isn’t as simple as it seems. If you want to take your blog to the next level and look for ways to improve it, below are five ways to make your blog more efficient and bring in more views.

Upgrade Your Website

How do you run your blog? Is it self made, or have you had a professional make it for you? If you have created it using Wix or Squarespace, it may be time you upgrade and use WordPress. Initially, using WordPress may cost you more; however, you have more flexibility and better SEO across the site once set up. WordPress sites are one of the most popular ways to make a site for a blog and make it more effective and increase your site’s visibility

Run Blog: Schedule Posts Schedule Posts

Do you write posts and then upload them on the day? This can be very draining and require you to pay attention to what you upload every day and not have a break. By scheduling posts, you can bulk write them and set them to go out at a set time. This means you can write 2 or 3 posts on the day and not have to think about them until the next week. If you are not full time, this means you don’t have to dedicate each day to writing and can have a day off from the blog now and then.

Account Software

If you don’t use Streamline Bookkeeping, then you are missing a trick. Your accounts bookkeeping is key to producing accurate accounts at the end of the tax year. By doing so, you can keep track of your invoices, expenses, and sales, all in one place. If you use a spreadsheet for your bookkeeping, you could be spending a lot of time trying to collate the information, which is why it is important to streamline your process.

Go Full Time on Your Blog Go Full Time on Your Blog

Running a blog can be scary! You don’t know when you will make money and if people like the content you put out. That said, if you are bringing in a certain amount of money, sometimes the only way to make your blog effective is to take the leap and go full time.

By going full time, you can post more articles and update your social media channels more regularly. This means you will hopefully bring in more money and be able to invest in yourself to bring in a higher income. If you aren’t there yet, work on your blog, and you will get there in no time.
