This is yet another inspirational movie that talks about the 2007-2008 financial crisis. It picks the angle of a bank, a heavy investment that turns out to be in a terrible crisis. Although we are not brought to the real name of the bank, we believe the steps taken by the bank resemble those of Golden Sachs and Merrill Lynch, who happened to be in a much-like crisis. On a keener look, Margin Call is a story of an investment that almost went down due to greed and dishonesty. An entrepreneur learns how the corruptive power of greed can bring down a powerful corporation.
