WordPress Wii Edition Plugin

WordPress Wii Edition is a plugin that shows an interface designed for the Nintendo Wii when visitors come to your site on a Wii with the Opera browser. Wii’s are automatically detected, there is no configuration needed. Inspired by Alex King’s Mobile Plugin.

Installation

Drop the wp-wii.php file in your wp-content/plugins directory
Drop the wp-wii directory in your wp-content/themes directory
Click the ‘Activate’ link for WordPress Wii Edition on your Plugins page (in the WordPress admin interface)

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this create a Wii admin interface too? No, it does not.
Does this support pages too? No, but coming soon.

What worries me is this is another module so support and what do we do when Opera charge Wii users for the Browser? Will people buy it? If not we are developing our WP Blogs for a small audience…

My Nintendo Wii based website runs on Wordpress, so this plugin is great news allowing the site to be accessed from the console.

Wordpress has some great plugins but I never thought they would make one for the Wii.
